RECORDS ANALYST - Georgia-Pacific Corporation, Atlanta, GA
RESPONSIBILITIES: Record Analyst reports to the Global Records Manager
within the Compliance Department and will assist with the implementation
of the Georgia-Pacific Records and Information Program. Responsibilities
include evaluation and recommendation of active and inactive records
systems, generation and tracking of destruction notices in accordance
with the retention schedule research, recommendation of appropriate
records management software, policy awareness and education activities.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree
KNOWLEDGE- SKILLS -ABILITIES:
Knowledge of MS Office Suite including Excel and Access; database
experience a plus; basic knowledge of file and records management
systems. The successful candidate will have knowledge about records
management systems and applications including the organization and
maintenance of paper and electronic records; project management skills
and experience; excellent problem solving and communication skills; and,
ability to manage multiple projects.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 2-4 years experience with file or record
organization; strong verbal and written communication skills; project
management skills; if required, ability to travel 5%-10%.
