Sr. Records & Information Management Analyst - 1 Year Contract Position -
Toronto


Inco is one of the world's premier mining and metals companies and one of

worldwide mining operations, production facilities, technology centre and
through our extensive marketing and sales network.
 
The Records and Information Management group, based in Toronto and
Mississauga, Ontario is seeking a Senior Records Analyst for a 1 year
contract to work on a project to implement a Records and Information
Management (RIM) Program and an electronic document and records management
system (EDRMS). Through effective use of RIM theory and experience, you will
be responsible and accountable for the development, implementation, and
maintenance of a records classification scheme, records retention schedule,
and metadata schema, which will be deployed in the EDRMS.  You will also
participate in the implementation of a RIM Program including,
communications, training, change management, and program documentation (e.g.
procedures).
 
You are expected to be a highly motivated, independent worker capable of
providing RIM leadership and expertise and, in particular, solutions to
analytical and procedural issues related to the classification and retention
of records.  As a member of a project team, you will assist in implementing
a RIM Program and an EDRMS. Your RIM experience is expected to include data
collection and classification analysis, retention schedule development,
metadata analysis, technical writing for procedures, imaging standards and
best practices, and use and implementation of EDRMS systems (preferably
OpenText Livelink eDocs DM & RM which was formerly Hummingbird DM & RM).
 
Local GTA Travel will be required for this position.

Educational Requirements:
.University degree in business administration, information technology or
library/information science or equivalent (experience and formal training
combined with demonstrated performance and ability may substitute for
academic requirements)
.Completion of RIM courses or training (RIM certificate / diploma preferred)

Required Skills:
.Good interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) 
.Good presentation and training skills
