Records Retention Specialist
Columbia , SC office of regional law firm seeks a Records Retention
Specialist. Assists in monitoring and administering the Firm's records
management program to meet established retention policies and procedures
for paper and electronic records; conducts inventories of new or
modified records series and proposes appropriate disposition schedules
and disposal applications; conducts administrative process for
authorization of inactive records disposition; ensures proper transfer
and disposition of records.
Should have minimum three years of experience in records, information
systems, or archival/information science management. Requires knowledge
of automated records and information storage and retrieval systems,
ability to apply records and information management principles and
techniques, knowledge of archival principles and holdings, and ability
to use document management software. Legal Records Management experience
