Peter, as a listserv "lurker" I feel compelled to speak up and add my
voice to those who appreciate RAIN. I could spend hours, if not days,
talking about the information I have gathered, the things I have
learned, etc. I use articles from RAIN to assist me with staff
training; to support suggestions I offer to legal staff; to make legal
staff aware of issues that will affect them and their practice; and
more. It enables me to better serve my internal clientele, which
enhances my value to the firm.

The value I receive from RAIN far outweighs the time I spend skimming
over articles that are of no (or very little interest). People who do
not have the time or find the articles burdensome for whatever reason,
can simply delete them. But for me (and the prior responses convince me
that I am not alone)please continue your herculean task of compiling
articles and publishing RAIN.

Subject: How Much RAIN ?

I'm always curious as to how much was posted. There were 360 unique RAIN
postings made last year. If one says that the average number of stories
per posting is 10 then the estimated number of total stories for 2006
was 3,600. not bad

hopefully the stories selected for posting proved useful to you all in
your work, and that along the way you learned something you didn't know.
