all of my postings concerning "rain" began innocently
enough -- i was curious about Peter's selection
methodology. 

so be it, however, if you think it's out of line for
someone to, in effect, say: "cite your source." in
that case, i would simply have to disagree with you. 

beyond that i have no idea what you are referring to
when you wrote that my behavior would be anathema. are
you saying that Peter's behavior is above questioning?
if so, again, i would have to disagree.

frankly, i think the fact that my postings have raised
so much ire is a good sign. it's about time that
things got shaken up a bit around this listserv, and
that so many people stopped sucking up to each others'
fantasy about how they are such wonderful records
managers.
