Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business or Public Administration, or related field; five years experience in records management administration, public administration or related field, including one year supervisory experience. Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver's license. 

Essential Functions: The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

Manages, directs and evaluates assigned staff, processing employee concerns and problems, directing work, counseling, disciplining and completing employee performance appraisals; directs and supervises daily operations of the County Records Center; plans and implements countywide records management program involving the retrieval, storage and destruction of records in accordance with established state laws, county ordinances and departmental policies and procedures; provides administrative and technical assistance to County departments regarding records management laws, policies and procedures, records retention schedules, and microfilming for preservation of records; plans, develops and implements microfilm projects; researches and prepares recommendations for records retention schedules; prepares and administers annual operating budget; monitors and coordinates operation services for records facility equipment; acquires and processes payments for materials and services; provides training and assistance to subordinate staff in proper procedures and practices for maintenance and records retention.
