Good Monday Morning All,
All of you microfilm experts, please help....
I have several years (1989 - 1996) of COM fiche that I am looking to convert to digital (already out for quotes). Seems to me sometime long ago, I heard COM fiche (diazo) only had a life of approximately 7 - 10 years although I have been unable to verify this. We will be adding funding for the next several budget years to convert these records as they have a retention of over 50 years. In the meantime, would it help to make a copy of the fiche to prolong the life another 7 -10 years?
