In case you missed the announcement, which I first saw on AIIM's blog
(http://aiim.typepad.com), Adobe announced today that it will submit PDF for
ISO standardization. Adobe had previously submitted, through AIIM, the
PDF/Archive spec, which was published as ISO 19005. This is for the entire
PDF Specification.
AIIM will in turn become the ANSI body that will take over development and
maintenance of the Reference, just as ARMA does for e.g. the vital records
standard (ANSI/ARMA 5-2003).
