This article, from the Washington Spectator, analyzes problems with
electronic voting in the last election. Its one of the few articles I
have found on this subject that actually looks at the practicalities and
limitations of various paper trail recommendations in a way that would
make sense to a records manager. Its also perhaps one of the better
illustrations of the issues that can arise when media and technology
choices conflict with stakeholder perceptions:
