My final comment on this..
I am not disputing the fact that RM professionals are actually doing this, because, as illustrated by the many posts, you are.  My concern is the fact that you are required to.  How long did it take you to get your degree?  How long did it take you to get your CRM?  How much time, effort and sweat equity did it take you to rise to the position of a Records Manager to be expected to do this?  I am not saying either that by driving a forklift it is demeaning or beneath us.  We also know a Records Manager wears many hats too. I just think the industry should respect what and who we are, as they do other professions.  That is all!
