You may additionally want to look into grants available from the
National Endowment for the Humanities - Preservation and Access. See
www.neh.gov
In particular, consider a preservation and access assistance grant. Call
or email neh for samples of grants and, after reading guidelines, to
discuss possible projects.

Subject: grant proposals

Has anyone written a grant for preservation of historical records that
they would be willing to share?

I am hoping to apply for a grant with the US National Archives and
Records Aedministration.

I have never written a grant before and am new to Records Management. I
was looking for any tips, buzz words to answer the following questions:

What is the purpose of the project and what are its goals?
What is the significance of the project in relation to the NHPRC's
projects and goals?
What is the plan of work for the grant period?
What products, if any, will be produced during the grant period?
What are the qualifications of the personnel?
What are your performance objectives and how will you evaluate the
project?

Thank you for your help.
