That is an interesting observation.
It would seem that those devices weren't very secure, and should not be
used for sensitive information.
However, we normally ass/u/me that if we still have the device, we have
control of the data.
This reminds us that 'tain't necessarily so.
However- I'll bet that both computers and decent PDAs need to be
configured to allow such transfer to occur.
It probably isn't too tough to disallow any such transfer from a
computer and PDA.
In fact, don't a lot of PDAs require a button or switch on the PDA to be
actuated prior to transfer?
