In my country containers are sometimes used as a cheap records storage too.



In April 2006, a container full of records was stolen from the premises of 
one of the Russian Tax Service inspectorates, – right in the center of 
Moscow. It was never found again. The criminals arrived there with a mobile 
crane, hooked the container and get away with it.
