The Austin, Texas ARMA Chapter has held a Shred Day every April for the
last 3 years with an ever-growing response.  We hand out home retention
schedules and also collect for the local food bank.  Multiple Shred
vendors donate their services, bring mobile shredders to the location.
The date is already set for next year and we are now partnering with
other organizations to bring in additional manpower.  This event not
only provides a service to the community, it also helps promote a
greater awareness of our profession.
