Joe:
I earned my CRM in 1992 without having a degree. The ICRM does take
experience into account when determining eligibility. Having some
college courses is helpful, but not necessary. The key is the amount
and variability of RM experience. There is a good description of
eligibility requirements at
https://db.icrm.org/crm/index.jsp?submit_menu=148.

Subject: [RM] CRM without a degree
Hello... my name is Joe. I've been involved in records and document
management for about 18 years from engineering clerk, document control
manager for a multi billion dollar mega project to area records manager
for
one of the big four firms. I'm currently working for an ECM consulting
firm
in New Jersey.
I do not have a degree.
My question: is there anyone out there that has a CRM that does not have
a
degree? I would like to talk to you off line and here how you went about
taking the CRM exam.
Regards,
Joe
