We've just started doing some major maintenance work for airlines, so
I'm just beginning this trek myself. Requirements may be different for
airlines than independent repair entities, but I would start with 14CFR
parts 43, 91, 121, 125, and 135. Seems to me that the original repairer
may want to keep a set for each aircraft for the life of the aircraft,
if not required, then as a CYA measure. Figure in your risk factor with
requirements. Check with your legal counsel.
