Job Description
The primary responsibilities of this position are to support the Corporate Records and Information Management Program with respect to the following operational matters, some of which will be handled independently, with manager supervision or team member collaboration:

 *   Representing the Compliance Department as records and information management liaison
 *   Serving as a records and information management subject matter expert within Amgen for guidance on managing records and information across all media types (physical and electronic)
 *   Implementing liaison-level training programs (train the trainer) and supporting network of embedded records management liaisons globally
 *   Managing updates, revisions and review of the Corporate Records Retention Schedule and associated processes and procedures
 *   Assisting with routine processes involving issuance of hold orders, updating hold order table and notices related to terminated staff members
 *   Reviewing electronic archive requests and maintaining associated processes and procedures
 *   Managing templates for governance templates (e.g., policies, standards, SOPs, business practices)
 *   Reviewing, revising and updating corporate records and information management governance documents, including tool-kit-type items (such as FAQ's, tip sheets, checklists)
 *   Establishing and maintaining a library of project management tools and templates for records management area (e.g. project plan templates, meeting minutes, calendars, T&Rs)
 *   Developing business practices to establish routine processes related to managing/maintaining key projects/programs to support the corporate RIM program(e.g., RIM governance tools;)
 *   Engaging and supervising outside consultants and vendors as appropriate
 *   Such other responsibilities as may be assigned
Experience should include: knowledge and application of records and information management principles, processes and technologies for physical and electronic media; familiarity with establishing and utilizing IT systems to fulfill e-discovery and records and information management tasks; significant responsibility for projects of moderate complexity; strong organizational skills and experience drafting a variety of documents. Manager must be able to handle, prioritize and follow through on diverse issues on a timely basis. Must be a self-starter, resourceful and able to participate in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment. Project management skills will be helpful to success in this position.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years records and information management experience required
B.A. or B.S. from U.S. college or university or equivalent experience required
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Effective creative problem solving skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills
Good project management skills
Self-starter with a high level of initiative
Ability to operate standard office equipment such as computers, copy machines, etc;
Experience with databases, reports, and phone systems required
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to interact with all levels of management
Certified Records Manager preferred but not required
Salary From $85000 to: $105000
Minimum Years Experience: 5
Education Required: Bachelor's Preferred
