SERIES & GRADE: GS-1421-12 POSITION INFORMATION: Full-Time Permanent
PROMOTION POTENTIAL: 13 Open Period: Tuesday, July 21, 2009 to Monday,
August 03, 2009 Who May Be Considered: ALL SOURCES - Applications will
be accepted from US citizens, from current and former competitive
service Federal employees, and people eligible under special hiring
authorities. Major Duties: As a Senior Records Analyst you will work
with agencies to ensure that government records are scheduled and
maintained appropriately for as long as needed. You will do this by:
-Providing direct assistance to Federal agencies in the management of
their records in all formats and media. -Visiting, consulting, and
working with agency officials to appraise Federal records and review and
prepare disposition schedules. -Advising agencies in the records
management requirements associated with the development of electronic
record keeping systems. -Planning and conducting workshops, seminars,
and conferences designed to guide and encourage agency officials in
improving their records management programs.
