I will bring homemade "English Teacake" (my Lancashire grandmother's recipe) which is a luscious honey sweetened yeast bread with raisons and currants.

Let me follow up my remarks with an invitation to all records management
listserv subscribers to a virtual party in celebration of the 13th
anniversary of RAIN (those of you who also subscribe to the Archives &
Archivists listserv will recognise the origin of this idea, to whose
creators I am indebted).

I will bring to the virtual party an apple pie from the American Pie
Company (Sherman, CT, USA), and a bottle of the red wine "Mad Dogs and
Englishmen" (60% Monastrell, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Shiraz;
Appellation: Jumilla, Spain).

All who appreciate Peter's dedication are invited to contribute.

Best regards.

Peter Kurilecz said "For those who may not be aware August 2009
represents the 13th anniversary of RAIN. 13 years ago I began posting
stories to the archives and recmgmt-l listservs. The purpose was to make
archivist and records managers aware of stories in which archives or
records management was either an underlying or main theme."

I hope the subscribers to this listserv recognise this is an achievement
that is extraordinary for both its scope and its duration.

Best regards.
