In a few weeks I'm going to be doing an hour-long presentation on records management as part of a former colleague's class on archives and archives administration. I'm currently looking for a few good reading suggestions I can put on a bibliography I'm handing out. I've got the basics down, but now I'm looking specifically for any articles or books on the following three topics:
1. Actually starting an RM program from scratch
2. Placement of the records management program within the organization (meaning, do you put it as part of IT, Legal, etc)
3. The intersection of records management and historical archives
If anyone has any suggestions for literature on these topics, I'd love to hear them.
