Brian brought good points:
1."RIM group was a part of the committee planning activities"
and
2."Don't worry about being upstaged by another organization, such as Public
Affairs, go to them up front and partner with them."
I can only add that it would be good if that committee could write that all materials would be transferred to ??? Archives / RIM group and preserved.
I think that during preparation the working group asks people to bring up their "memories" for event, pictures, divisional newsletters, wall papers and other stuff, that is not considered as "official records".
May be people would like to donate it to organization and it would be good to say that the RIM / Archives program is the right place.
after, the same material could be use for other events - 50 years of first product?, or 50 years in new building and other.
Respectfully,
Alex Babin
