Hello Everyone!

I just want to know whether there are a standard procedure or practice
to destroy documents/records which were classified as SECRET and
CONFIDENTIAL?

Is shredding enough? Or need to burn them after shredding? Are working
copies document need to follow the same procedure as final document if
it is contain confidential information?

I know drafts are not records but there are some concerns that the
external party may get information from the working copies which were
thrown away without shredding.

How about INTERNAL USE documents? For example, a memo for internal
communication. Can we throw it away or need to shred too? What is the
best practice for disposal of records activity?

What are the best practice to dispose draft documents that contain
information which supposed to be classified as SECRET,CONFIDENTIAL and
INTERNAL USE?

Should we allow people to drafts document recycle (use the blank page)?

Thanks for your sharing.

Regards,

Nazariah Nasarudin
