I apologize to those on the listserv that are not Americans for the
below post, please feel free to delete if you so desire.

During the lunch hour, our Military Hospital Chaplain conducted a 9/11
Remembrance service. It was such a moving service. We saw a video that
brought tears to my eyes, and a retired Army Chaplain was the key note
speaker. He talked about that day, about having to go to Georgetown,
Texas, just two 2 1/2 months later, to inform the parents of the death
of their Army Special Forces Son, killed in Afghanistan, the first to be
killed in the War Against Terror. His talk was very moving. At the end
of the service, one of our Chaplains say God Bless the USA. I don't
think there was a dry eye in the room. By the time the last chorus was
sung, we were all standing and singing together. Made me proud to not
only live in this great Country, but to also have the privilege of
working as a Department of the Army civilian, serving those who protect
us on a daily basis.

May we remember those who lost their lives 9 years ago, tomorrow, honor
those who paid the ultimate price
