Hello everyone - I had someone ask me recently what unique requirements
there are in the management of health care entity corporate records, and it
stumped me a bit. Obviously I'm aware of all of the patient-facing
regulations (ARRA ERM requirements, etc.), but that's not the question. So,
I ask the experts here ... am I crazy to think that the corporate records of
a health care entity would be much the same as any other business
(accounting, HR, facilities, etc.)? What am I missing?
I've done lots of googling and other poking around but really don't see much
of anything that appears unique that isn't about the management of patient
records.
Thanks for your kindness in advance. Today has not been a stellar day for
my brain and so I may be missing the obvious.
