Tod, I left NV in Feb 2010 and do not know if they followed through; or
what the result.  I made my case to an attorney at the City who was my
contact on public records requests and he agreed; said he would bring it up
with the State.


Ginny, I agree with the Commonwealth of Virginia; wish the State of NV had
defined their open records law in a similar fashion with similar wording.


Bill, reckon you and I certainly disagree.  The so-called "public" has no
standing unless they are:

1.  citizens and residents of the governmental entity,

2.  are another government entity within (cities or counties) if we are
talking about a state or commonwealth;

2.  are a registered vendor or business partner.


Anybody else can go pound sand because they have no standing; no rights.


I hate paper ....
