Please excuse any cross postings - a great session on project management skills for records managers and others.
Records Managers Need the Skills of Major Program Managers
Speaker: Marilyn Bota, Bluestone Process Dynamics, LLC

It's already a reality: a Records Manager's job has expanded dramatically, balancing between daily expectations and critical projects. The role is no longer limited to maintaining retention schedules and coordinating box deliveries. With the volume of business information and records exploding, more unstructured electronic information, new technologies, social media and new legal and regulatory requirements, the interest in records has moved from the back room to the board room.

As president of Bluestone Process Dynamics, Marilyn brings over 20 years of GE executive, international business, quality and document life cycle management experience. She developed programs introducing quality programs (such as Six Sigma, Lean, Work-out, At the Customer For the Customer), records management and consultative selling in the aircraft engine industry and at Genworth Financial, formerly GE Financial. Her role prior to leaving Genworth was VP, Records Management where she created and implemented a company-wide Records Management program, as well as comprehensive business policies for all associates.

This event includes buffet lunch. Please register by Sunday Oct. 6. Registration allows us to provide the venue with advance seating and meal requirements. Event cost is $24 for registration up to the cutoff date and $30 for late registration or walk-ins without prior registration. Registration and additional information is available HERE<https://www.eventbrite.com/event/8319236059/?ref=enivtefor001&invite=NDIzMDY5MS9jdzhkZUB2aXJnaW5pYS5lZHUvMA%3D%3D&utm_source=eb_email&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=inviteformalv2&utm_term=attend&ref=enivtefor001>.
