Might be old school but I miss young adults who are polite and well mannered when spoken to and when even younger seen but not heard when out in public.

I was in my car leaving the facility and two much younger "ladies"
approached their stop sign. But, instead of stopping, they barely slowed down and I tooted my horn (didn't want to get in a vehicular accident, you
know) and the driver just gave me the "you're number one" salute when I pointed to the sign.

What a generation! Perhaps we should get back to having our 18 yr old young'uns serve in the military for two years. Just thinking!

Rob- I couldn't help but laughing at some of the comments like this one and a few others about ill-mannered young people. Look at the information on the quote at the link below. The author(Freeman) in 1907 was rephrasing and summarizing quotes from ancient Greeks about their "disrespectful" children.

It appears with as much change as we have seen just in the past decade, some things haven't changed in four thousand years of civilization. Have a good weekend everyone.
