Blake, I cannot agree with you more.  This conversation will light up not a few of our members, but this is not about "our" perspective.  It is about the perspective of the decision-makers.  These people control resource allocation.  And I see that perspective as being more and more negative toward anything having to do with "records" as a term.

Our mission remains the same.  That has not changed.  How we get there has evolved tremendously.  And part of that change includes being light enough on our feet to adapt to the cultural norms as those evolve in addition to the technology changes.  If I have to be known as an Information Worker to get my budget approved, provide jobs to my professionals, and ensure the integrity of our Information (nee "Records") environment, so be it.
