I grew up in the Seatte-Tacoma area. Our local stations signed off with the 1st Nations Chief Head too. On Saturday night our Tacoma channel used to broadcast a scary movie. They would sign off at 1:00 AM. 

Good times.

PS I think 1967 was the best year for cars, rock music, and groovy clothes :)
