icrosoft has updated its data retention policy for Exchange Online,
tweaking it such that deleted items will not be permanently erased by
default. Businesses that prefer otherwise will need to put together a
policy specifically for that.

"With this update, the length of time items remain in the Deleted Items
folder is extended to indefinitely or according to the duration set by your
administrator," noted
