Hello!
My company is drowning in A/P invoices (paper), as our system to now has
been a fully manual one. We do have JD Edwards as our ERP, and
DocuShare as an ERM, and we'd like to find a way to automate our A/P
process using both of them. We've talked to Xerox (for the DS side) and to
Iron Mountain (who has a proprietary A/P system that would talk to JDE,
but possibly not to DS).
Do any of you have any experience in the RM side of automating A/P? Our
goals are to free up space (we currently have 16 - 20 cabinets full of A/P
invoices), automate approvals (so people don't have to print out images
and sign them), and ultimately be able to view the original invoice scans in
DS.
I would appreciate any and all ideas/experience you may have.
