Linking to your website instead of sending an email message - I would think
you would maintain ownership by copywriting your web content. And then you
would be legally within your rights to control content. But think in broader
terms - what if you were selling something and posting your product
warrenties or functioning as in investor. Yes, you control content but you
also have a legal responsibility to maintain specific records and make those
available. Hope I'm making sense.
