Today, the National Archives and Records Administration published a proposed revision to its regulations for Presidential records in the Federal Register on page 58875.

In response to a petition for rulemaking, NARA proposes to
amend our rules concerning Presidential records to lengthen the time
from 10 working days to 35 calendar days to appeal denial of access.
This proposed rule will affect the public.

Submit comments on or before November 30, 2004.
