A note to thank you again for the responses to the above. I chose to go
with 125 docs/inch. Since I haven't asked for permission to reveal the
source, I'll keep it anonymous.

An interesting stat from some documentation I had here on a Dept. of
Forestry case study that says that it is 16x more expensive to maintain a
a digital collection than paper. This cost includes equipment, staff,
facuilities & training.
