One quick observation is that it had become apparent here that we really
needed good metadata and standard naming conventions.  We use a product here
called Foremost.  We also use structured drives and a standard file
classification system.  With a proper file classification schema, file names
which actually describe the subject of the record and sound metadata which
accurately describes the content of the record, we can now access
information quicker and meet our legislative responsibilities and
accountabilities.
