Actually I have seen something advertised in a commercial lately that
seems to do that.  It looks like it's a thin mylar protective sheet that
you can apply to recorded side of a CD. The commercial on TV has this
hippy guy hitching a ride with a big-rig trucker. Unfortunately, I can't
recall the name of the product.

Is there something like a thin wax coating which will increase the life
of the disc while at the same time not damage the workings of the
player.  Any help would be helpful.
