Hi all,

The AIIM Rocky Mountain Chapter is pleased to announce our next meeting is
set for Thursday, February 10, 2005. The presentation will feature Terry
Train, CRM, MIT, and AIIM Rocky Mountain President, speaking on storage and
preservation options.

Synopsis:
There are a myriad of storage and preservation technologies available in the
marketplace, but how do you know which are appropriate to support your
particular needs? Join AIIM chapter President TK Train in a discussion on of
the different technology options involved such as microforms, optical disk,
NAS/SAN and others, and how to choose the appropriate media to ensure your
content is well-preserved.

Speaker bio:
Ms. Train has over eighteen years experience in the field of Records and
Information Management.  She has developed and implemented RIM Programs,
including, but not limited to, retention schedules, imaging systems and
disaster recovery programs for numerous companies during her career and she
has taught records management classes at the community college level.

TK currently is the Corporate Records and Information Manager for Qwest
Communications International. During her career, TK has been very active in
AIIM: she served two years as President of the San Diego Chapter and is
currently serving a term as President for the Rocky Mountain Chapter.

Ms. Train is a Certified Records Manager and holds a Bachelors degree in
Business Information Systems from the University of Phoenix.  She has
received the AIIM Master of Information Technologies (MIT) designation and
has completed  the AIIM ECM Practitioner Level 1 training.

Registration for the meeting will start at 11:30, with lunch and
presentation scheduled for 12:00-1:00.

Cost to attend meetings is $20 for AIIM Professional members and $30 for
non-members. This fee covers lunch.  We are pleased to offer the AIIM Member
rate for all meetings and events to ARMA members as well.
