The Triangle Chapter of ARMA will host its 2005 educational seminar,
"Managing Modern Records: User Perception, Regulation and Technology," on
Thursday, April 7, 2005 at The Solution Center in Research Triangle Park,
NC.

The day-long session will focus on three distinct components of electronic
records management:
--the role of users and their demands, needs and perceptions as factors in
properly managing electronic records, especially email;
--the requirements for managing electronic records installed by
regulations such as the Sarbanes-Oxley Act; and,
--the growing use of computer forensics to analyze and retrieve data.

Our speakers are Megan Winget (University of North Carolina at Chapel
Hill, School of Information and Library Science), Jackie Boyden
(BlueCross/BlueShield of NC, Vice President for Corporate Ethics &
Privacy), and Robert Maddox (National White Collar Crime Center, Computer
Forensics Analyst).

Cost: $75 for ARMA members and $90 for nonmembers. Continental breakfast
and lunch will be provided. Free parking.

For more information visit the chapter's events page or contact me at the
phone number/email address below.
