RIM colleagues:

Many of you know and have affection for Mr. Tsutomu Kimura (Kin san
Kimura).  Mr. Yasuo Kakizaki and Mr. Arata Sakane inform me that Kimura
san has passed away.

Kin san had a long and distinguished career with Kodak, and has been
consulting for many years.  He is one of the veteran records and
information management movers and shakers from Japan who blazed the
trail for modern RIM practices in Japan today.  He is also one of the
RIM colleagues from Japan who is responsible for the close relations and
RIM collaborations between Japan practitioners and those from the United
States, Canada, Europe, and other pacific rim countries.

I will miss Kin san; please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

 With deep grief, we have to announce the death of "Kinsan" Tsutomu
Kimura.
He died early this morning after a long illness at the age of 72.

As you know well, his sense of duty, and the aims of his work were
valued by
all who knew him, as were his humanity and his friendship.
We shall remenber him with gratitude and affection.

The funeral ceremony will be held as follows:
