Good morning,

The Wyoming Department of State Parks & Cultural Resources has the
following opening in Records Management:

Records Analyst
(Class Code:RM13-7854)

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Assist state and local government
officials in the establishment of guidelines and retention schedules for
all records, regardless of physical format. Provide technical
assistance, advice and information concerning government, public and
confidential records. Plan, attend and participate in training seminars
and workshops related to the field of information management. Perform a
variety of tasks associated with the management, implementation,
evaluation and retention of a large and complex records system. Maintain
an automated records system. Assist with the supervision of daily
activities relating to records management. Responsible for overseeing
the processing of Records Center items for destruction or preservation.
Work with the unit supervisor to manage and implement statewide
e-records policies and procedures to insure that records with legal,
administrative and historical values are properly evaluated, preserved
or destroyed in a legal and timely manner. Work with other state and
local governments MIS professionals and committees to coordinate the
analysis of current and proposed electronic information systems and
develop guidelines relating to the on-going value and retention of these
systems' information.
