Dave says: But for me the more interesting question is should there be a
records
manager on the team which the project manager will be managing and if so
what exactly will that person be doing to support the work of the team.
I would like to think that the records manager should be the project
manager. A RM has experience in handling paper, knows how it can be
indexed and sorted and knows of systematic approaches to handle the whole
process. I would hazard to guess that records principles would not be
included if the RM was not included in the project.
