Good Morning from beautiful Denver:
I am interested in finding out how other companies handle information
retention subject to a Legal Hold which is held on employees' hard
drives and share drives when the employee has left the company.
Specifically,
1. How do you protect that information from being altered?
2. Do you pull the hard drive and store it for the length of the Legal
Hold?
3. Who is responsible for going through the departed employee's
electronic files and holding them for Legal Hold?
4. How do you handle information on the share drive that is subject to
Legal Hold? Do you move it to a portion of the server specific to
information regarding that Legal Hold? If so... how do people find time
to get this done?
5. Any other information you can provide surrounding this interesting
issue.
As always, thank you in advance for sharing your wisdom!
