The Triangle Chapter of ARMA will host its 2005 educational seminar,
"Managing Modern Records: User Perception, Regulation and Technology," on
Thursday, April 7, 2005 at the Solution Center (www.thesolutioncenter.com)
in Research Triangle Park, NC.
The day-long session will focus on three distinct components of electronic
records management:
--the role of users and their demands, needs and perceptions as factors in
properly managing electronic records, especially email;
--the requirements for managing electronic records installed by
regulations such as the Sarbanes-Oxley Act; and,
--the growing use of computer forensics to analyze and retrieve data.
Deadline for registration is Friday, April 1.
Cost: $75 for ARMA members and $90 for nonmembers. Continental breakfast
and lunch will be provided. Free parking.
For more information and to download a brochure and registration form,
visit the Triangle chapter's webpage (www.armamar.org/tri/).
