"King County Court: Electronic Filing"

Program: Recognizing the importance of managing electronic records, King
County has embarked upon a program to manage this vital resource. The
County's Electronic Records Management Program will incorporate Best
Practices in the development of a comprehensive approach towards managing
electronic records and the proliferation of Electronic Records Management
Systems throughout the County. This presentation will review the history
behind the program, what the goals of the program consist of, and the
proposed approach and challenges in implementing an Electronic Records
Management Program across a decentralized organization with over 12,000
employees.

Speaker: Greg Trosset comes to King County with 18 years experience in both
the public and private sectors. Previous to joining King County, he was a
Senior Project Manager and Supervisor in Information Services at Swedish
Medical Center. Greg has also worked as a consultant and healthcare manager
with organizations including Cotelligent, Capital Health Services, Fred
Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, and Community Health Centers of King
County. He started his career as a Commissioned Officer in the US Navy,
serving on active duty for 9 years, and was stationed in both Naval
Hospitals and warships on both coasts. He is currently a Commander in the
United States Naval Reserve, assigned as the Chief Information Officer
(Reserve) for Naval Medical Center, San Diego. Greg holds an MBA and
Bachelors degree from the State University of New York. He lives in Mill
Creek with his wife Connie, and his children Brenda and Richard.
