Mistrial declared in rape of 5-year-old girl

In the body of the story:
"Wednesday's mistrial was called after investigators late Tuesday afternoon discovered a box of slides and a section of a swab taken from the victim's sexual assault kit. The box of samples were tested by the state crime lab and returned to prosecutors during the 1998 investigation. It was placed in a box of other evidence in the Police Department's evidence storage, but was not listed in the inventory."
