Several of our employees here had the same problem. Just out of
curiosity, what year is missing? Our missing year is 1987. I was keeping
my pay stubs from since back in 1987 or so, but just the W-2's would
provide the summary info in less space.

We discovered here that the Social Sec Admin failed to record a tape the
city had sent several years ago so everyone has a missing year, and it
was not discovered until after the city had destroyed  W-2s (7+C
retention);
