Hi all, and with apologies both for cross-posting and for the surge in
traffic tonight :)

Education dollars provide some of the best value to organizations - but they
are still scarce and must be justified. With that in mind, I would like to
ask all of you who have made the decision to seek professional development,
what are you looking for? More specifically, I ask for your consideration in
responding to the following brief survey. You can respond to me directly at
[log in to unmask] or to the listserv if you are interested in
sharing.

1. What are the top 3-5 topics you personally would attend, assuming costs
and location were reasonable?
2. What are the top 3-5 topics your organization would most benefit from,
assuming costs and location were reasonable?
3. Do you prefer a) full-day workshops/seminars, b) half-day
workshops/seminars, c) 45-90 minute sessions, d) other?
4. Do you prefer a) onsite, instructor-led sessions, b) offsite,
instructor-led sessions, c) online sessions?
5. Regarding paying for your professional development, does your
organization a) pay all costs, b) pay some costs, c) reimburse some costs,
d) do you pay all the costs personally?
6. What is your position (title or responsibility)?
7. Any additional comments?

Thanks in advance for your comments - I ask for your consideration in
providing feedback by April 8 and I will collect the results and post the
aggregate comments to the lists on April 11.
