Those of you not familiar with Slashdot (http://www.slashdot.org), it's a
freewheeling exchange of "News for Nerds". On any given day you might see
discussion of the next Star Wars movie, Japanese anime and manga, or, as is
the case today,
Proposed Federal Rules On E-Document Destruction
http://yro.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=05/04/04/0334238&tid=123
The threads are always opinionated and usually beat to death every possible
aspect of an issue. In this particular case it seems like the majority is
generally in favor of the proposed changes (caveat: so am I), while the
original poster is not as sanguine.
