I believe you can find the necessary information on the New South Wales
State Records Website at the following URL:
http://www.records.nsw.gov.au/publicsector/rk/storage/Singledownload.htm.
You need to look at the Appendicies A & B. In particular 'B' as I believe
you may be looking at archival records. Thus you will note that the table
'B' lists a different environment for the different formats ie. paper and
microfilm.

I would also like to add a few thoughts to the digitisation process. Have
you considered the need to scan the documents once to ensure that you
obtain a preservation master so that you do not need to revisit the paper
in the future for re-scanning. You will need to make sure scanning is
undertaken to the highest quality possible to ensure all information is
captured from the plan? Not only to the highest quality but you need to
establish quality controls and to capture the necessary metadata about the
engineering drawings themselves.
