The Perfect Storm: Messaging and the Records Manager

Policy Workshop, as well as present considerations for records and
information managers who need to develop strategies for managing email
and instant messages. This presentation will outline an approach for
managing email as well as discuss considerations for managing instant
messages.

Building the Business Case for e-Records Management
In this economic climate, how can we make a compelling business case for
an investment in e-Records? This session will outline areas of
significant cost savings that can be quickly realized. Where the return
is less obvious or results are more challenging, the presenter will
outline approaches to getting buy-in from management. Also key to a
successful business case are strategies for successful implementations,
which further support the proposal.
Objectives: 1) Learn how to partner with Information Technology/
Information Systems. 2) Identify key opportunities for significant cost
reductions. 3) Understand how to integrate records management principles
in the e-Records environment.
